PRIMEVÈRES

This large-scale floral composition reproduces a stencilled textile from the second half of the 18th century. Often installed in provincial residences, such décors brought a sense of nature into interior spaces. The primrose, a flower of spring, symbolized renewal and the rebirth of nature.
