FÉLICITÉ
This Louis XVI wallpaper features delicately staggered vignettes in which pairs of birds perch upon floral arrangements. The ground is animated with draperies and neoclassical trophies—bows, quivers, and torches—drawn from the classical repertoire. The overall composition evokes the refined elegance associated with the decorative taste of Marie-Antoinette.
