POMMETTES
This Louis XV-style wallpaper features a vegetal design of climbing stems punctuated with fruits and flowers. The small rounded forms that rhythmically structure the composition evoke “pommettes,” an ornamental motif resembling stylized small apples. Such designs were highly prized in refined 18th-century interiors.
